#2 Use independent events

When one event does not affect the outcome of another event, the events are said to be bindependent/b.

For example, flipping a coin and rolling 6 on a dice are independent events.

For independent events:

(P(A~\text{and}~B) = P(A∩B) = P(A)×P(B))

[b]uIndependent events[/u]/b

(P(A∩B) = P(A)×P(B))
