We engaged Lisa as a Chemistry tutor for our son who was studying advance higher. His prelim result was a D, and a place at his first choice university was contingent on him getting a B grade. We had a relatively short and intense period of tutoring with Lisa, from early March to mid May. I had reservations about the sessions being over video link, but those were unfounded. My son loved the tutoring sessions with Lisa. She had great rapport with my son, and worked with him to focus on the ‘biggest bang for buck’ areas, given the short timeframe. Lisa was reliable, and had great communications with me over arrangements. She made a significant impact on my son’s knowledge, confidence, and his ability to answer questions in an exam setting. As a result, my son got a B band 3 and this has helped him secure a place at his first choice University studying Genetics. I would highly recommend Lisa as a tutor. My son’s view: ‘I couldn’t have done it without her - that’s a fact’.
