Hi, I’m Dr. Yatin, an online tutor with a strong passion for teaching and helping students gain confidence in their studies. I have been teaching for the past 3 years and have completed over 1000 hours of tutoring experience. I enjoy working with students of different abilities and helping them improve through personalised and engaging lessons.

I have experience teaching KS3, GCSE Maths and Science, A-Level Biology, and 11+ preparation including Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Over the years, I have worked with students from different academic backgrounds and learning styles, helping them improve both their understanding and exam performance. My lessons focus not only on subject knowledge but also on exam technique, accuracy, and time management.

My approach to tutoring is student centred and tailored to individual needs. I first identify the areas where a student struggles and the areas where they perform well, so lessons can be planned accordingly. I believe students should understand why they are writing a particular answer and why other methods may not work, rather than simply memorising solutions. Alongside building strong conceptual understanding, I also focus on improving speed, accuracy, and confidence to help students perform effectively in exams.
