As a second-year medical student at the University of Liverpool, I have been passionate about STEM and nature from a young age, always inspired by and curious about the world around me and how it works.

This curiosity drove me to choose science-based subjects and ultimately pursue medicine at university; now, I’d love to help other students do the same. I genuinely love working with children and young people, which is why I hope to specialize in paediatrics in the future.

Academic tutoring: I've been tutoring for the past 3 years, starting off volunteering to help students at my school, as well as friends and family, prepare for their exams and schoolwork. For the past year, I have been providing paid online tutoring for A-Levels. I’ve received wonderful feedback from my tutees, who note that they feel significantly more confident and knowledgeable heading into their exams.

Swim teaching: Additionally, working as a swimming teacher for the past three years has helped me become comfortable with working with all types of students, their unique learning styles, and individual needs.

I always tailor my approach to the individual student. Whether they learn best through PowerPoints, detailed notes, mind maps, or interactive quizzes, I am completely flexible.

My overall lesson structure focuses on 3 steps:

✅ Identifying gaps in the student's knowledge based on their specification

✅ Addressing these gaps or misconceptions to build on their knowledge and make sure it is secure

✅ Finishing with targeted exam practice to ensure that all content is thoroughly understood and that the student feels confident for their tests and exams
