Hello! I am an experienced social sciences/English tutor with a passion for helping students succeed. I study Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick, and achieved grade A in both English Literature and Sociology A-Level.

I have two years of tuition experience in English Literature and Sociology, having worked with students aged 11–16, and one year of tutoring A-Level Politics students (aged 16–18). I can confidently teach these subjects at GCSE and A-Level, and I am well-versed in the AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards for all subjects.

I begin with a brief review and check-in, during which the student can highlight any specific questions or topics they are struggling with. I then progress to teaching this content, ensuring that lessons are tailored to the student's needs. Next, I provide activities, worksheets and questions for the student to complete independently, with the option to consult me whenever needed. Finally, I review the lesson's content with the student and ask once more whether they have any questions, identifying their strengths and weaknesses so that we can work on them in the next session.

I believe in the importance of structure, however I am student-focused and will adapt this to the student's preferences and needs.
