I am a student at Durham University studying Natural Sciences, with my "major" being in Mathematical Sciences, with other subjects studied at university being Computer Science, and Economics.

In addition to being a student, I also work as a self-employed software engineer.

I have an Enhanced DBS Check.

• I work at Durham University to deliver tutorials in Mathematics
• I have also got experience tutoring in Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science (up to A Level), and Physics (up to GCSE).
• I also work for WeSolveProblems, a charity who run Maths Circles, where mathematically curious secondary school students come and work on more conceptual problems.

I prefer to have more of a university approach, where I introduce some problems, usually at or higher than the students' level, and take a step back - giving hints where I can see they are going in the wrong direction, or at a dead end.

Sometimes, where the student needs help understanding the concept in the first place, I usually tend to deliver an interactive style of lecturing - where I introduce the concept, and try to get the student to figure out what's next - to get the student to actively learn rather than passively.
