Considering maths is one of my daughter's least favourite subjects, she's always happy to do her tutor sessions with Ed - that speaks volumes! I asked her for feedback and she says Ed explains things really well and he's gradually working up the GCSE grades with her in terms of gradually increasing the difficulty. So far so good.

Ed tutored my daughter for GCSE Maths who achieved grade 8. He structured the sessions focused around exam question practise which was great for identifying topics to drill down into for further learning and questions. He also focused on topics based on request. Approach worked well for my daughter & online sessions were very prompt with good use of communication tools. Thanks for your help Ed!

Ed is fabulous! He is an extremely personable and engaging teacher whose patience and calm manner ensures that lessons are stress free and enjoyable. My daughter always looked forward to her lessons with Ed and even when she was at her most tired, never complained about going. Great teaching style, very patient, and very knowledgable about all topics. My kids have had huge improvements in their understandings of topics as well as their marks. We couldn't recommend Ed highly enough. He has been teaching my son online for a year, for GCSE Maths, and his confidence and capability has grown enormously. My son has found Ed engaging, understanding and challenging. The biggest compliment I can pay Ed as a parent is that throughout, my son has never tried to make an excuse to skip a lesson (he is 16 after all), or had a negative word to say about how he has been taught. Ed is an amazing tutor - I cannot recommend him highly enough. My son was predicted Grade 5 EdExcel GCSE in his mock exam. He only began sessions with Ed in March and achieved a 6 in his GCSE - missing a grade 7 by one mark. Ed tutored my son for a period of months leading up to his GCSE.
