As her parent, I feel more sessions ahead, even with additional offline practice writings from you to be assessed will definitely help her grasp what the board exams require. My son always enjoyed History but was getting grade 6 not knowing where he was loosing marks. He started with Louise at the beginning of year 11 in September and within a span of two months in November he had his mocks where he got grade 8. And again in another 2/3 months, around Feb/March they had another exam before GCSE where he was 1 mark off full marks. Can't thank Louise enough for this tremendous improvement! Amazing teaching!

Her feedback on essay content was invaluable, she would go over every essay I'd written and provide a structure to follow to enhance my essay writing skills and help establish my line of argument whilst also pushing my analysis skills needed to develop my argument. This was particularly seen with her help in my coursework, providing many resources from historians whilst also enhancing my knowledge surrounding the topic resulting in me getting a top grade in it. alongside this her friendly and open approach allowed for many discussions around history making our lessons much more engaging and enjoyable. I really recommend Louise as a tutor because she allowed me to reach my best potential!

Louise was an amazing tutor for me throughout year 13! Before I had Louise’s tuition my coursework was at a low C and within one lesson of helping me with it she was able to help me raise it to a low A. Her consistent essay practice with me really helped me develop my writing style and she was always on hand even outside of lessons via email to provide resources and any help. Prior to her tuition I was predicted a B in politics and a low A in History and by the end of the year I managed to get an A* in both subjects. This would not have been possible without her so I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor!

Louise provided invaluable teaching, guidance and support to my son in preparation for his A-Levels. Additionally, her role as an examiner was extremely beneficial. His grades and confidence improved throughout the academic year which led to him achieving the grades he needed to study History at Exeter University. Needless to say we, as a family, are extremely grateful to Louise for all her support especially during such uncertain times.

Louise started working with my daughter last September in her final A level year to coach her for History. She'd hated the subject and regretted taking it and had achieved a C in her summer exam though she was capable of a higher grade. Through weekly sessions with Louise she was soon achieving much higher marks. At the beginning of this term she got an A* for her History mock. Over the past months she had begun to enjoy History again and this is wholly thanks to Louise. She is an exceptional tutor and really helped my daughter to turn her History A level around. But actually her support went much further than that. At the start of the year my daughter was struggling with organisation, overwhelmed and behind with her coursework. Louise was the voice of calm reassurance she needed. She was able to be honest with her about how behind she was and Louise helped her to make a plan not just for History but her 3 subjects. Each week she was kind and constructive and it really helped my daughter to feel less anxious and more motivated. In the end she did really well with all her subjects. Louise is easily the best tutor we've ever had, she goes above and beyond and I can't recommend her highly enough.

Louise supported our son initially re A Level Politics and then subsequently for A Level History as well. It was an easy decision to make.
