¡Hola! I am a qualified Spanish teacher with a Master’s Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language. I love teaching and helping students overcome their difficulties with Spanish.

Over the past 12 years, I have specialised in supporting students preparing for GCSE, IGCSE, National 3–5, A-Level, IB and Scottish Higher qualifications. To date, I have helped hundreds of students improve their confidence, accuracy and exam performance in Spanish.

I also work with learners studying Spanish for professional, academic or personal reasons, as well as university students who need help with written work, grammar, translation, speaking or essay preparation. My teaching is always carefully aligned with each student’s goals, level and learning style.

I previously worked as a Spanish teacher at the University of Oviedo in Spain and in a Spanish secondary school. I also spent several years teaching in a language centre in the UK, which gave me first-hand experience of the British education system and its qualification requirements.

I have now been working full-time as a Spanish teacher and private tutor for over 12 years, teaching students of different ages, levels and academic backgrounds. I have successfully prepared many students for GCSE, IGCSE, National 3–5, A-Level, IB, Scottish Higher and university courses.

My lessons are carefully aligned with current curriculum requirements and assessment criteria. I continuously update my resources and exam strategies to reflect changes in exam board specifications, helping students receive focused, accurate and effective preparation.

My lessons are fully tailored to each student’s needs, interests and goals. I use carefully selected and up-to-date materials to develop grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing in a structured and engaging way.

All lessons are delivered online using interactive tools that allow us to speak, write, read and listen together in real time. As we progress, I create a personalised online “book” for each student, containing notes, explanations, examples and practice materials from every lesson.

This gives students a clearly organised record of their learning, which they can access at any time and use for revision between lessons. Many students find this system more efficient and effective than traditional tutoring, especially when preparing for exams.

My aim is to make Spanish feel clear, manageable and purposeful, while helping students build confidence, accuracy and strong independent study habits.
