I am a qualified primary school teacher and senior leader who loves learning. I am passionate about ensuring every child feels confident to achieve their very best in the core subjects that will take them through their time in education. Because of this, I love that the 1-1 nature of tutoring allows for individualised plans and ideas can be put in place to help any child succeed.

Graduating in 2018 with a degree in Education Studies, I then went on to complete my PGCE before graduating with qualified teacher status (QTS) in 2019. Since then I have worked across the primary age range from EYFS to Year 6 and currently teach in Year 6 alongside being a senior leader. Throughout my career, I have led on English in two different schools and now lead on maths. I have extensive experience with SATs preparation having worked in Year 6 for a number of years. Through teaching in different schools, I have been trained in both Read Write Inc. phonics and Little Wandle phonics.

My approach is flexible based on the needs and age of the learner. Following an initial session to assess the current levels and begin to get to know the child, I will then build a programme of learning suitable to making progress towards to goals we want to reach. Progress will be regularly monitored throughout the sessions and additional work, to be completed independently, can be provided if required.
