Alister is one of those people that have a natural ability to teach, he very quickly gives the student confidence of his ability which enable the pupil to relate one on-one with each other. The impact Alister has had on our son, is amazing, he has gone from looking to take GCSE Math foundation to intermediate. GCSE Math. I am not saying Alister can wave a magic wand, but he can certainly open doors of the mind of the pupil he is teaching.

As an absolute beginner lacking confidence with speaking Welsh I find Alistair very helpful and supportive. Sessions are relaxed but educational. Really enjoying the process

I can't thank Alistair enough, I gave him one weeks notice that I had a GCSE maths exam 5 days after the first message but he took me on and I passes the exam with a C considering i have not done any GCSE maths since i had left school, the amount of effort and help he gave me was on another level, he is a great tutor and an even greater guy. My confidence went up as soon as I sat down and he started explaining everything to me.

Alistair has been tutoring my daughter since the start of September and it is making a big difference to her. My Twin Daughters are 10 years old and in year 6, they have never had much confidence in maths and with the recent pandemic they have fallen behind. I got in touch with Alistair to see if he could help. Both my girls are reporting that they are getting on better in school, they seem to be grasping things more easily and are a lot happier doing maths. Alistair has been tutoring my partner in English for a year now and has helped him enormously. My partner is a non-native self-taught English speaker who wished to improve all aspects of his English, particularly writing, but also his self-confidence and general communication skills. Alistair has been tutoring my 6 year old son during this latest lockdown. He has been fantastic at responding to his interests and has created learning materials that have really enagaged him and very impressively have encouraged him to write, when he can sometimes be a rather reluctant writer. At a time when he has had limited contact with his school teachers having this 121 contact with a teacher has been hugely benefical to him and is helping to make sure he doesn't lose his natural love of learning. I have also found Alistair to be very easy to communicate with and setting up the sessions was very easy.
