I have had Andrew as my physics tutor for the past few months and he has been great at building both my skills in this subject but also confidence. In our lessons, we are able to go through topics I didn’t understand in class but also revision tips and exam technique which has been helpful for doing my midterms in school. The lessons he provides are both informative and fun and my ability to answer questions has improved as well as my overall understanding of the subject!

My daughter has had three sessions with Andrew for A level chemistry. After each session she has been enthused with how Andrew has been able to explain concepts (and contextualise them) in a way that is completely comprehendible. So impressed thus far.

Our son has been having sessions with Andrew for a couple of months now, and we've been really impressed with the progress he's made. Already he is getting better grades in his Physics and Further Maths classes, and he says he understands the material a lot better than he used to. He had even been wondering whether he should drop Further Maths A-level, but now he feels much more confident and definitely wants to go ahead with it! He says that Andrew is friendly and encouraging, and really explains the subjects in an interesting way. Honestly we are really grateful for all the help that Andrew has given our son; it's making a big difference to him.

Having Andrew tutoring my son has been of real benefit to his understanding of both physics and chemistry. Awesome teacher, friendly and helpful! It's clear that he has a lot of experience in both his areas of study and teaching itself. He simplifies ideas that should/would initially be complex, and breaks them down to help you try to understand them in a far simpler way, surpassing a lot of in-school teachers' explanations and teaching methods; he has a lot of additional extra tips and tricks on how to deal with questions. Abides by the syllabus and teaches you exactly what you need to know. Overall, one of the best tutors I've had the pleasure to work with!

Andrew is an extremely intelligent tutor. He has his own teaching methods which are actually easier to learn an implement. He teaches me pure maths, statistics, mechanics and physics for 2 months now, and I can automatically feel the improvement and progression. Andrew does an incredible job at being flexible with me, in terms of timings, and all our lessons are absolutely fun even though they are challenging. You have done a great job Andrew keep it up!

I have came on a lot in A level chemistry since beginning tutoring sessions with Andrew. During lessons he ensures I understand everything in a number of ways including lots of helpful analogies. Andrew makes very difficult topics seem very simple resulting in a much deeper understanding of the subject matter.

Andrew comes at learning from a different angle to the teaching at my son's school. His approach seems to be complimenting, rather than contradicting, the school learning and is increasing my son's understanding of chemisty and what's required to acheive a top grade. Highly recommended.

Andrew is extremely good at keeping me engaged in my lessons, which is difficult to do - hats off to him - when it is a two hour lesson and it is easy to lose focus. He has a very unique and effective teaching method which is very interactive as he takes me through various concepts. He is kind and good humoured, which creates a comfortable environment to work in. Best of all, he is clearly passionate about what he teaches, which goes a long way in teaching as this gives him the ability to make the subject more interesting.

Andrew has been helping our son with Maths tuition in preparation for his GCSE'S , our son has made significant improvements in areas that he was stuggling with. Andrew's expertise in explaining to him to different ways to work out questions and explain in detail how he should work out has improved our son's ability and confidence greatly.
