Graham is an excellent tutor providing detailed knowledge of all three sciences! He has been teaching my son very well with interactive lessons. Additionally, he is an exam marker, providing my son with good tips for developing exam techniques and being well-prepared for his GCSEs. I would definitely recommend Graham as a tutor.
Graham's subject knowledge in Physics is very impressive and was able to help my son understand difficult problems clearly before his Edexcel GCSE examinations in Physics. Graham was also able to help my son understand exam technique to be able to answer questions most effectively. He was also very approachable during the examinations, and made a point of accommodating my son's queries and offering a lesson. And though my son missed the arranged time due to an unavoidable situation, with no notice given to Graham, the latter was still kind enough to take a lesson, was very supportive in explaining the queries patiently and additionally did not charge for this, of his own volition. Very positive experience, thank you Graham.

Graham helped our daughter with the three core GCSE science subjects covering topics she did not fully understand. She found Graham's tutoring style helpful and clear. As a result of time with Graham she feels more confident with the subjects and has a better understanding.
After the trial lesson, Graham told me by email that he would not be much help to my son, who is seeking help to improve from a score 7 situation. Graham said that his main focus when tutoring is to improve a pupil's understanding of the subject. He believes that this is not the issue for my son, and the lessons would be spending a lot of time just going through the work in the book. I appreciate Graham's feedback and hope that another student who deserves the opportunity better than my son will benefit from Graham's tuition.

Thanks for the feedback. We had a trial lesson and it was quickly apparent that the pupil was bright and intelligent. The brief was to cover work missed at the start of the course before the pupil joined his new school. I felt that this could be achieved easily without my input as there were no issues of understanding and the topics were quite straightforward. I gave some advice about how this could be done by private study.
My son always looked forward to Graham's sessions, which were very well planned, appropriately paced and highly engaging. Graham has a kind manner which developed my son's self-confidence and interest in science. Graham made time to discuss my son's progress and also the areas he needed to work on between sessions - he has extensive knowledge of the science curriculum and the exam system. My son and I were delighted with the results in GCSE science, reflecting the excellent quality of Graham's teaching. I highly recommend Graham.

My Daughter is so thankful to Graham. She has an ongoing health issue and he helped her raise her GCSE grades - Chemistry increased 3 grades(!), Physics 2 grades and Biology 1 grade - all between January and June 2022! Graham is an experienced chemistry and physics tutor and very familiar with both AQA content and examination for these subjects... He was the ideal calm and patient tutor for our daughter and her results were excellent with his help.
Graham has a lovely reassuring manner and explains things very clearly. My daughter hasn’t had that many sessions yet but her confidence has already grown.
We feel very grateful to have found Graham, who is helping our son in preparing for his GCSE science exams. He explains the topics extremely well and by the end of the session everything is much clearer to him. Graham is very accomodating and works well with our son to decide on the best course of action, reinforcing what has been learnt in the lessons with questions to complete in a workbook. They have only had a few sessions, but Graham is already instilling confidence in our son, so this is very positive.
