Hi! My name is Alicia and I'm based in Cambridge, UK. I graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Physics. My full time job is a Embedded Engineer at a water technology company, where I design PCBs and write code in C, Python and (sometimes) Java.

In my time at UChicago, here are the teaching jobs I've held:

• Afterschool Neighborhood Schools Program tutor for local elementary, middle, and high school children. (5 months)
• Mentor for a summer camp in science, astronomy, and engineering camp for secondary student student girls (2 weeks)
• UChicago Core Tutor in Physics. (9 months)
• Learning Assistant for the UChicago Physics Introductory Lab Sequences. (9 months)
• Learning Assistant for the UChicago Creative Machines and Innovation Course. (3 months)
• Metcalf Intern for the National Space Society: I developed astronomy-focused courses for elementary, middle, and high school teachers. (5 months)

I really love teaching. I've worked with a variety of ages, from early elementary to undergraduate level. I welcome parent and child feedback and I am always looking for ways to change my teaching style to match each individual student.
