I believe every student can succeed when they are taught in a way that matches how they learn. My lessons are calm, structured and engaging, focusing on building confidence as well as achieving outstanding academic results. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or simply needs help catching up, I tailor every lesson to help them reach their full potential.

I have many years of experience teaching students of different ages, abilities and backgrounds havubg taufht students in UK, China, HK and the Middle East.

I have supported students preparing for GCSE and IGCSE examinations across a variety of exam boards, including AQA, WJEC, OCR and Edexcel. My work includes teaching new content, improving exam technique, marking written responses, identifying weaknesses and creating personalised resources for each learner.

I have worked with high-achieving students aiming for the top grades, as well as students who lack confidence, have fallen behind or need concepts explained in a much clearer and simpler way. I am also experienced in helping students with comprehension, creative writing, essay structure, mathematical problem-solving and revision planning.

My approach is personal, structured and encouraging. I take time to understand how each student thinks, where they are struggling and what will help them progress. I explain difficult ideas in a clear, step-by-step manner and make sure students truly understand a topic rather than simply memorising answers.

Lessons are engaging and interactive, with plenty of questioning, discussion and exam practice. I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and developing confidence. At the same time, I am honest about areas that need improvement and provide clear targets so that every lesson leads to genuine progress.
