I have a First-Class Master’s degree in Chemistry and currently work in the technology industry at one of the world’s leading renewable energy technology companies. I also have two years of tutoring experience, specialising in GCSE Mathematics and Science, as well as A-Level Chemistry.

Outside of work and tutoring, I enjoy producing electronic music and DJing, which gives me the opportunity to explore my creative side. I believe that both critical thinking and creativity are valuable skills to nurture, as they encourage curiosity and help us approach challenges in different ways.

I have two years of experience teaching GCSE Mathematics and Science, A Level Chemistry, and supporting students studying at lower levels.

One of the biggest challenges I faced when learning was having the confidence to speak up when I didn’t understand something. At school, I didn’t always feel confident in my abilities and was once told that I might struggle to succeed in my science exams. However, after being inspired by teachers who helped me see the subject in a different way, and with the right attitude and determination, I was able to turn things around and eventually went on to achieve a First-Class Master’s degree in Chemistry.

I understand that maths and science can sometimes feel daunting, especially when there is so much to learn. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing in confidence. I want every student to leave each lesson not only feeling more capable, but also genuinely interested in what they have learnt and excited to see their own progress.

I believe that connecting topics to real-world examples makes learning more memorable and helps students understand the value of these subjects. It can also inspire curiosity and show students the exciting possibilities that maths and science can lead to.
