Tutor Profile

Anmol

Hello! I'm a passionate Mathematics educator with over 4 years of teaching experience, helping students from Grade 2 to Grade 12 build confidence and achieve academic success. I specialize in teaching multiple international and national curricula, including IGCSE, GCSE, CBSE, ICSE, American, British, Australian, and homeschooling programs.

Along with school mathematics, I also prepare students for competitive and standardized exams such as the SAT, ACT, AMC, UKMT, Math Kangaroo, and other mathematics assessments.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner's pace, strengths, and goals. I have experience working with students who have ADHD and other diverse learning needs, creating structured, engaging, and supportive lessons that help them stay focused and enjoy learning.

My aim is not just to improve grades but to develop strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence that students can apply beyond the classroom.

Teaching Experience

I have more than four years of experience teaching mathematics to students across a wide range of age groups and academic levels. During this time, I have worked with learners from different countries, teaching one-on-one and small-group online sessions.

I have taught students following CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, GCSE, American, Australian, and British curricula, as well as homeschooled students who require personalized learning plans. My experience includes preparing students for school examinations, standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT, mathematics competitions like AMC and Math Kangaroo, and entrance assessments.

I regularly support students with varying abilities—from those needing help with foundational concepts to high-achieving learners aiming for advanced performance. I also have experience teaching students with ADHD, using individualized strategies that improve focus, engagement, and understanding.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is student-centered, interactive, and goal-oriented. I begin by understanding each student's current level, learning style, strengths, and areas that need improvement. Based on this, I create a personalized learning plan designed to help them progress steadily.

During lessons, I focus on building conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I encourage students to ask questions, explain their thinking, and solve problems independently while providing guidance whenever needed. Real-life examples, visual explanations, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques make complex concepts easier to understand.

For students who require additional support, including those with ADHD, I incorporate shorter learning segments, interactive activities, frequent feedback, and positive reinforcement to maintain engagement and motivation.

After each lesson, I provide targeted practice, review mistakes carefully, and monitor progress regularly. My goal is to help students become independent learners who are confident, curious, and capable of tackling challenging mathematical problems with ease.
