Sophie is an excellent teacher of French. I find our lessons together enjoyable and interesting. Each lesson begins with conversation between us in French, before we go on to undertake more structured exercises in communication and grammar. By mutual agreement, Sophie sets homework assignments which I can undertake in advance of the following lesson, and her feedback on my work is very helpful. The Skype application is an ideal medium for the online lessons: the quality of the audio and video communication is very good, and it is easy to exchange and share resources to support the lesson and to aid further study. Most importantly, it allows me to have lessons with a native French speaker, which is very beneficial.

Sophie is a fully qualified and highly experienced French teacher. Sophie is highly professional. Sophie is able to assess her students language level and teach at the right level for the student. Moreover, Sophie takes the time to listen to her students needs and provide bespoke language lessons. In her lesson Sophie follows a proper method, she does a warmer at the beginning, then provides input in target language through engaging activities, and then then applies the new language through speaking activities and practice activities. She also provides homework and useful feedback. Sophie is very flexible, everything is very easy and straight forward. I would fully recommend Sophie as a teacher for all ages, levels and specialisms.

I'm very glad I chose Sophie as my tutor. I wanted someone who could be flexible to meet my specific goals. I also picked her because she's a tutor with plenty of experience but still young and using today's language and cultural norms. I spend my life on Zoom but still wasn't sure how well learning a language would work. I'm very pleased at how the relationship has worked and how effective Sophie has made the learning. What I really like about Sophie is that it's clear she has all of the "stock lessons" however it's she thinks about her clients and builds personalised lessons around topics and content that reflects their interests. She makes the lessons engaging, fun and challenging so I'm always making progress. Every lesson is different. Our lessons are by Skype and Sophie has mastered it so it works seamlessly with conversation, audio clips, video clips providing the lesson content. She uses the chat to provide feedback, vocabulary, grammar and links to other resources. The chat also captures these so you don't need to take notes. Excellent !

Really pleased so far. Good assessment of my abilities then some conversation which challenges me and some structured lessons following some exercises. Everything is tailored to my exact needs and Sophie is always friendly and on time.

Sophie was very patient and inderstand with me and was a huge help to me in improving my French. Gradually, I was able to improve my prunuciation and, being a native of France, Sophie inspired me with supreme confidence that I was actually begin to learn this wonderful language!. Sophie is a fantastic teacher. She is always on time and with lots of materials ready for the lessons. She is kind and patient and the lessons are extremely enjoyable. I am having online lessons and I can say that the experience has been superb so far. In summary, she is an excellent teacher and I would recommend her to anybody wanting to learn French.

Sophie is a great tutor, provides relaxed structured lessons and really tailored the topics to me. She has shown real commitment in seeking out resources related to my work and life and finding vocabulary that will be particularly useful to me. Sophie is very reliable and very approachable. Lessons via Skype are very easy and convenient, and I like the system where she records everything discussed during the lesson, typing it on a panel at the side of the screen. You can print this out to keep for revision. She's very organised, and the lessons are nicely structured. It's a good way to improve your French with a good teacher.

I have been taking lessons with Sophie for about 9 months now, and I am really happy. My spoken French has improved, and I find the lessons stimulating and challenging. Sophie is friendly and makes learning French fun. She makes notes on the screen as we go along, and I print these off so that I can review them after the lesson. Doing lessons via Skype also fits with my lifestyle as I have to travel for work. I highly recommend Sophie as a French teacher.

I have my lessons with Sophie via Skype. Sophie lives in France and I live in UK. Skype is just like having Sophie in the room and she types up instructions as we progress which also appear on the computer screen. The great saving factor in all this is time. I don't have to travel to/from lessons. "Homework" is sent and returned via email which is then checked before my next lesson. We've done this for three weeks and everything is going OK so far.

Sophie was very quick and efficient in responding to my emails and questions at all times. I was in need of doing French oral practice for a 2nd year university debate and she helped me hugely covering a wide range of current affair topics. She made me speak in French for pretty much all of the time and was very friendly and easy to talk to. I very much recommend her!
