Hi, I'm Harry! I'm a fourth-year graduate-entry medical student at Newcastle University with a strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and medical sciences. Before studying medicine, I completed a First-Class degree in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry and a Master's in Biomedical Engineering with Distinction, before working as a data scientist. I enjoy helping students develop confidence by breaking down difficult topics into simple, logical steps. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students become independent, confident learners who enjoy the subject.

I have experience tutoring students from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE and A-Level in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have supported students with exam preparation, homework, revision planning and building confidence in challenging topics. Alongside private tutoring, my medical training has involved teaching peers and communicating complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging way. I tailor every lesson to the individual student and have helped learners improve both their understanding and exam performance.

Every student learns differently, so I begin by identifying their current level, strengths and areas for improvement before creating a personalised learning plan. Lessons are interactive and focused on understanding rather than memorisation, using worked examples, practice questions and exam-style problems to reinforce learning. I encourage students to ask questions, build confidence through regular feedback and develop effective study techniques that they can use independently. My goal is to make lessons enjoyable, boost confidence and help every student achieve their academic goals.
