I have over 12 years experience working as Secondary Maths Teacher in 3 different schools. I have worked across all the key stages with high and low ability groups.

I am a patient and understanding maths specialist with a humorous personality that engages my students. I like to visit my students in person, tutoring on a one to one basis where I can give them my full attention. I find by watching them work beside me, it allows me to live mark their answers and immediately spot misconceptions. However I am happy to tutor online if preferred with the same dedication and professionalism. I tailor my lessons to my student's individual needs, personalising my teaching to address their weaknesses, while stretching and challenging them to think like a mathematician. I have different ways to visualise the maths I want to explain through pictures, diagrams & bar models and I have lots of training with mastery approaches.
