Hi, I'm Lee! I'm a graduate of the University of Liverpool with over 13 years' experience as a Maths, Science and specialist Physics tutor. I've had a passion for learning from an early age and a need to explore and understand the world around me. It was this thirst for knowledge that led me to study Physics. Now, with my degree in hand, I hope to pass that same enthusiasm on to the next generation of students.

Teaching Experience
I have been a private tutor since September 2012, teaching GCSE & A-Level Maths and GCSE Science, including Physics and Chemistry up to A-Level. I also support students preparing for Functional Skills, entrance exams, and offer guidance on revision strategies and techniques.
Tutoring Approach
My tutoring approach is tailored to each student's needs. Before we begin, I like to meet with the student and their parent or guardian to get to know them and develop a teaching plan. Once I have assessed the student’s needs, we can work together to develop and strengthen their knowledge. I strive for my lessons to be fun, engaging and appropriately challenging to help each student reach their full potential.
(Please note: for lessons at a student's home address there is an additional travel fee of between £5-15 per session, calculated by distance.)

Lee is giving my son some last minute GCSE science tuition, which my son is really enjoying. He always comes on time, is professional and is fully prepared for the lessons. He explains things well and is patient. He is going through past papers giving my son lots of tips on exam technique as well as explaining areas of the curriculum my son has missed at school. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending lee to anyone who needs some support for their science. My son was hovering around 2-3 in all sciences at the start of February. Using different techniques my son gradually grew in confidence and towards the end he was flying. He did foundation and got the highest mark possible which was A 5-5. I just wished I contacted lee sooner so he could have smashed the higher papers. I’ll be using lee again in a couple of years if my daughter needs support. Can’t thank him enough. !!!
