I studied Chemistry at Imperial College, after which I spent twenty years working as a professional classical singer! I went on to study Mathematics with the Open University and since graduating in 1998 I have been working as a Mathematics Teacher and Private Mathematics Tutor specialising in GCSE and A level tuition.

Since Graduating from The Open University 1998 I have been working as a Private Mathematics Tutor for GCSE, iGCSE, A Level and IB. I have also taught at Abbey College and Mander Portman Woodward College (fifth and sixth form Colleges in Cambridge) as well as teaching in numerous Adult Education Colleges in the Cambridgeshire area.

My tutor sessions are friendly and relaxed and student led. I will work on any topics which the student has found challenging, but if the student has no particular areas of concern then we can methodically revise all the work which the student has covered to date and this will enable us to highlight and concentrate on any areas of weakness. If exams are looming I will enthusiastically work through past examination papers as a means of revision, highlighting any areas of concern and improving examination technique.
