I teach Piano/Keyboard, Guitar, Ukulele, Singing, Violin and Music Theory at my home studio near Bognor Regis and online.
I studied Music and Education at Dartington College of Arts and Rolle Teacher Training College for three years.
I have also performed on the piano/ keyboard and guitar with singing for most of my career including playing some of my own compositions.

Teaching Experience
I have taught in schools and adult education centres and I now teach at home and online. Over 600 of my students have passed music exams mostly for Trinity College but the majority of my students are learning music for pleasure without taking exams.
Tutoring Approach
I try to encourage students of all ages and abilities to enjoy playing music including popular music as well as classical music and to achieve their goals.

Cherry Alum is all what I wanted a tutor to be. I am a total beginner and want to be able to read music and play a keyboard for pleasure. I have the lessons online. Cherry is calm, patient and cheerful. She understands if I need to cancel a lesson. Cherry is an ideal tutor as I don’t feel under any pressure if I forget what she has told me, I just try again. I would definitely recommend Cherry as an excellent music tutor. Happy days!
