I'm a qualified secondary school Maths & Science teacher (QTS) with three years of classroom experience teaching Science across Years 7–11, including AQA GCSE Combined Science Trilogy. I hold a Bachelor of Education and an Honours Bachelor of Science Canadian universities, giving me a broad grounding in both subjects I tutor.

I specialise in GCSE Maths and Science at both Foundation and Higher tier, and I'm confident supporting students working towards AQA and other major exam boards.

My lessons are structured but relaxed — I want students to feel comfortable asking questions rather than worrying about getting things wrong. I usually start by checking understanding from previous work, then focus on the areas where a student needs the most support, using past paper questions and mark schemes to build exam technique alongside subject knowledge.

I mix visual explanations, worked examples, and independent practice, adapting my approach to how each student learns best. Building confidence matters a lot to me — many students arrive feeling anxious about a subject, so I break tricky topics into manageable steps and make sure to recognise progress along the way. I also help students develop study and revision skills they can carry beyond our sessions.
