I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Bath doing a Masters degree in Mathematics. I have achieved 3A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry as well as 11 GCSE grades from 9-7. I really enjoy teaching, especially taking tricky ideas and breaking them down in a way that actually makes sense. I’m friendly, patient, and I love seeing that moment when something finally clicks for a student. My goal is not only to improve grades but to help students build understanding, confidence, and independence in their learning.

I have 2 years experience as a tutor and have taught students with a range of ages and abilities. In this most recent year I have helped my students improve their mathematical knowledge to obtain grades in the range 9-7 at GCSE with an improvement of 2-3 grades from weekly 1 hour sessions.

Every student is different so each lesson is tailored to suit the needs and learning styles of every student to ensure that they leave not just knowing the answer, but understanding why it's the answer. This is done by breaking down difficult topics into manageable steps, using targeted practice, and emphasising problem-solving, exam technique, and active recall. Most importantly, I try to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and actually enjoy learning.
