Hi, I’m Pavani. I have a background in Statistics and Data Analytics, and I enjoy helping students understand mathematics in a simple and practical way. I believe maths becomes much easier when you understand the reasoning behind a concept rather than simply memorising formulas. I’m patient, approachable, and happy to work with students at different levels and learning speeds.

I have experience providing one-to-one mathematics tutoring, helping students with topics including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics, calculus, and mathematical problem-solving. I adapt lessons based on the student’s current level and focus on areas where they need the most support. I also help students prepare for exams by practising questions and developing strategies for approaching unfamiliar problems.

My approach is personalised and student-focused. I first try to understand what the student finds difficult and then break the topic down into smaller, manageable steps. Rather than asking students to memorise formulas, I focus on helping them understand why a method works and when to use it. I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes, and work through problems independently, while providing guidance whenever they get stuck. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to make them more confident and comfortable with mathematics.
