I'm a First-Class MEng in Mechanical Engineering graduate from Imperial College London. Before Imperial, I achieved straight D1s (above A* standard) in Cambridge Pre-U Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, alongside an A* in Computer Science at Hampton School.

Having come through the UK’s top-ranked Mechanical Engineering course, I specialise in A-Level/IB Physics and Maths, university entrance tests like the ESAT and PAT, and technical problem-solving interview prep for Mechanical Engineering applicants, including Oxbridge and Imperial.

During my time at Imperial, I spent a year as an undergraduate teaching assistant running drop-in tutorial sessions for 1st and 2nd year engineering students. Students would come in with whatever they were stuck on, ranging from mechanics and thermodynamics to fluid dynamics and stress analysis. Because the questions were completely unscripted, I learned how to quickly figure out where someone's understanding was falling apart and explain complex physics from the ground up.

My goal is finding the angle that makes difficult concepts "click".

When tackling a tough problem, I walk through my thought process out loud, demonstrating how to set up the system and apply core principles from scratch.

I then hand over a similar problem and have the student explain their reasoning as they solve it. Talking it through reveals exactly where their intuition gets stuck so we can fix it on the spot. I keep lessons adaptable, depending on the strengths and weaknesses of each student, whether drilling past papers, building foundation confidence, or working through unscripted interview problems.
