Hi I'm Nathan, a current A-level examiner, maths graduate, and full time tutor. I specialise in tutoring maths (and further maths) for all ages.

My mission is to help parents save time and stress by increasing their child's maths confidence and exam results.

I have helped 100+ students over the past 10 years. ​ I’ve always had a passion for maths. In school I was top of the class and thoroughly enjoyed my maths degree. I now work as a successful maths tutor helping families with their children's education.

I am also an A-level maths examiner for one of the "big 3" UK exam boards. I am an expert in exam technique and teach this in my sessions.

Two standouts from my 2025/26 cohort have been:

Firstly my A-level student who went from a grade D in his first year to a final grade A which took him to his first choice University. I helped him particularly with his exam technique, written presentation and timing. Before my help, he had the knowledge but was not able to present it in the time given.

I had a fantastic result from one of my GCSE students who went from a grade 4 to a grade 7 in her GCSE within 6 months. She was someone who “didn’t like maths” when she first came to me, but after some hard work and positivity she learnt to really like maths and saw a massive three grade jump.

I believe that maths is a practical subject and in order to achieve the highest grades you must be familiar with the exams. In every lesson I cover both topic knowledge as well as real past paper exam practice to ensure my students are fully prepared for their exams in both their knowledge and exam technique.

All lessons take place on Zoom using the latest interactive whiteboard technology. My lessons are very interactive and involve constant screen-sharing and discussion.
