Hello! I am an 19y/o undergraduate History student at the University of Oxford and am based in the Highlands of Scotland. I recently went through National 5s, Highers and A levels achieving straight A*/As. I am best suited to tutor History or other essay based subjects up until advanced higher, either in person or online. I can also help with personal statements or interviews for university admissions.

I am a coach for the junior national debate squad. This looks like mentoring, putting together materials and delivering workshops. For 2 years I taught sailing and climbing to local primary school children.

I believe that the best way to achieve meaningful progression is to meet the child where they are, through open questions and discussion. Learning is best done in a cyclical manner where the students needs are adapted to, and understanding comes from them rather than imposed in a lecture format. This way it is more durable.
