I live in Wigston, Leicester and have over 20 years teaching experience.

I am Head of English at a high performing Leicestershire school. I am an AQA GCSE Examiner for English Literature Paper 1 and English Language Paper 2. I also teach Media Studies GCSE.

I quickly try to assess the level the pupil is working at and then teach practical approaches towards helping them improve their grade. I am very clear about writing structures and effective approaches to each question on the Language and Literature papers. I vary my approach according to the level, from grade 3-9.
