I am a UK-qualified Business and Computing teacher and tutor with over 17 years of teaching experience. I have worked in schools, further education colleges and online education, supporting students in the UK and internationally. I specialise in Business, Computing and ICT and particularly enjoy helping students build confidence, improve their understanding and achieve stronger results in examinations and coursework. I am approachable, patient and easy to work with, and I aim to make lessons focused, supportive and productive.

I began teaching in 2010 and have taught a wide range of qualifications, including GCSE and A Level Business, International GCSE and International A Level, BTEC Nationals, OCR Technicals, OCR Nationals, iMedia and degree-level Business and Computing programmes. I have experience with Pearson Edexcel, AQA, OCR, WJEC and Eduqas specifications. I also work as an online tutor for Wolsey Hall Oxford, supporting home-educated students in the UK and internationally. Alongside teaching, I have worked as an examiner for OCR and Pearson, which gives me detailed knowledge of mark schemes, assessment objectives and the common mistakes that prevent students from achieving higher marks. My tutoring is tailored to the individual student. I normally begin by identifying gaps in subject knowledge and exam technique before developing a focused plan around the student's specification, assessments and target grade. Lessons combine clear explanation with active practice, including past-paper questions, worked examples and detailed feedback. I place particular emphasis on exam technique: understanding command words, applying knowledge to the context, developing chains of analysis and producing well-supported judgements. My aim is not simply to help students memorise content, but to understand how to apply their knowledge effectively in assessments and become increasingly confident and independent learners.
