Update to my previous review at first tutors, Now that our son has received his GCSE results, I wanted to add how incredibly pleased we are with the progress he made with Annie. His GCSE results in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology were significantly better than his predicted grades before starting with Annie, and we were absolutely delighted with the outcome. She has brought out every bit of his ability and really built his confidence. It says a lot about the quality of Annie's teaching, preparation and support throughout. One of the biggest changes has been his confidence and self-belief Maths and Science subjects. Thanks to the progress he has made, he is now taking Maths and Further Maths at A level, something that honestly felt like a distant dream a year ago. Annie has been really organised and encouraging throughout, and we always felt involved in how he was getting on. After every lesson, she would send us an update explaining what they had covered, how he was progressing, and which areas he needed to spend a bit more time working on. That regular feedback was really helpful and reassuring. We were already really happy with Annie before the exams because we could see how much he was improving throughout the Year 11. His GCSE results just confirmed how much of a difference her help had made. Highly recommend!

Annie has been as been a fantastic tutor for both our daughters one studying A'level Economics the other GCSE Maths . Annie's calm approach, expertise and encouragement gave both our daughters the confidence to try their very best. She also gave additional support outside of the lesson to both which was above and beyond. My girls did excellent in their exams and would not have achieved these results had it not been for Annie. Annie is a fantastic Tutor who comes highly recommended. Annie became my tutor in January when I was scraping 5s with a target of a 7. In the space of 5 months, I achieved a 7 in GSCE maths. Annie goes over all over the content that is needed and specific for your aspiring grade and tells you to complete different tasks. She prints out all of the work for you so you can complete in your own time. She is super reliable, she never cancels a session and will confirm a couple days before and tell you what she thinks you should cover. The workspace is clean and tidy and allows you to focus. She is extremely friendly, you can contact her outside your hours and she responds very quickly. Annie is an excellent tutor and is highly recommended!

Annie has been great with our son, and he has made excellent progress since starting lessons with her. She is very organised, and I can see he's getting the most out of every lesson because of the thought and preparation she puts in. She keeps me updated on his progress, points out areas to work on, and sets homework to complete before the next lesson. We are extremely satisfied with the support and guidance she provides.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My son loves his Maths lessons with Annie! She has an excellent way of making the subject engaging and fun, and it's been amazing to see how much his enjoyment of Maths has grown since starting with her. Annie is incredibly patient, and her clear, supportive teaching style has helped improve his understanding of key concepts. His confidence has noticeably increased in the areas they've worked on together, and he always looks forward to his sessions. Highly recommend!

Annie has been the most amazing tutor - we were so lucky to find her and that she had a space at 8am on a Saturday and 5pm on a Sunday. Even though these times were not that great for our son he never complained and never missed a lesson - as he thoroughly enjoyed every single one. Our son is Dyslexic and has ADHD but that did not stop Annie engaging and challenging our son. I would highly recommend Annie as the the follow up notes, feedback and home study work was faultless. Each week there was a recap added to the previous weeks lesson so we had a clear list of topics covered, where improvements needed to be made and suggestions for approaching specific questions. Our son really took to Annie’s learning style and because of her he felt confident going into his GCSE exams. Well done Annie and Thank you!

My daughter has been seeing Annie for a few weeks now and her knowledge and Understanding of maths has definitely improved. Annie is approachable, always smiling and her way of teaching has connected with my daughter and helped her immensely.

Annie is a fantastic tutor. we could not fault her in any way. My daughter was good at maths but lacked in confidence. Annie made sure she new every topic inside out.
