I am a Physics graduate from the University of Warwick and a qualified tutor with over 12 years of tutoring experience.

I specialise in GCSE Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Combined Science, as well as A-Level Maths and Physics. I tutor both online and face-to-face in and around Wolverhampton.

I take a patient and supportive approach and enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects they may previously have found difficult.

I have completed over 6,000 hours of one-to-one tuition across more than 12 years, including over 2,000 hours of online teaching.

I have taught GCSE and A-Level students across a wide range of abilities and all major exam boards, from students struggling with fundamental concepts to those aiming for the highest grades.

I also have experience as an A-Level Physics Examiner for a leading examination board, giving me first-hand experience of how students are assessed in formal examinations.

I hold a First Class Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Warwick and a Level 3 Tutor Training Qualification. I also create teaching resources used by schools across the UK.

My tuition focuses on two key areas: developing a thorough understanding of the theory and applying that understanding confidently to exam questions.

I identify gaps in knowledge, explain difficult concepts clearly and then use structured problem-solving and exam practice to develop independence. We focus on understanding what questions are asking, where marks are gained and lost, and avoiding common mistakes.

Where appropriate, I also provide individualised homework, marked assessments and regular progress feedback for parents.
