I’m Sol. I achieved A* grades in both History GCSE and A-Level, and went on to earn a First Class degree in History from the University of Liverpool. I know the specifications from both sides: as a student who sat the exams, and as a tutor who has worked through them with students at every level.

But credentials only go so far. What I bring to every session is an understanding of what it actually feels like to be a GCSE or A-Level student. I know what it is like to juggle eight subjects at once. I know what it is like to get disappointing results at the end of Year 12. And I know how to turn that around.

I have been tutoring for over a year now, guiding dozens of students to achieve grades that they can be proud of at both GCSE and A-Level. I have worked with students that have dyslexia, ADHD and autism and have been able to help them improve their grades. Last year I took students at GCSE from a 3 to a 7 (D to A) and at A-Level from a D/C to an A.
