I am a retired man who worked as a statistician in the civil service for 14 years and then as a research university medical statistician. For recreation I enjoy listening to classical music and have posted online some of my compositions. I am actively involved in a church.

I have done face to face and online tutoring since 1988.

I establish a friendly relationship with the tutee (and their parents if they are a child) and I use worksheet questions appropriate to their ability. I aim to encourage them at all times. My worksheets include online material. In lessons I generally take the lead but may allow the tutee to take the lead. I set homework to aid learning and fluency with the topics.
