Hello! I’m Emily, a part-time masters student in Librarianship at the University of Sheffield looking for tutoring work in English (language and literature). I’m friendly, outgoing and happy to tutor both online and in person if you are local to me.

Though I do not have any direct teaching experience, I volunteer with the local library weekly, working often in the children’s library. Encouraging young people to learn and enjoy reading has become very important to me.

My approach to tutoring is based on the idea that everybody is different with their learning. Not every child will find the same methods helpful, so I want to work with them and their needs to find a way around challenges they may have.
