Hello, I’m a French and Spanish secondary school teacher. Since completing my teacher training (PGCE) nine years ago, I’ve taught at a state school in north London, from year 7 all the way up to year 13. I’m also an AQA examiner, which has given me a lot of useful insights and exam techniques.
Tutor Profile
Teaching Experience
My nine years in the classroom have given me experience of a wide range of abilities. Sometimes what is needed is a bit of one to one teaching, and I’ve found this is where tutoring can make a real difference.
Tutoring Approach
I always identify the student’s needs first, as I find that once these gaps have been filled, their confidence can quickly build.
As an AQA examiner, I’m able to link learning to the exam specification, which creates familiarity with the requirements and ensures my tutees always feel well prepared.

Clara was a great help in tutoring my son for GCSE French. He was somewhat late in the game to prepare for the exam, however, once we contacted Clara, she came to the rescue. With a combination of online and in person sessions, Clara was able to target key areas and zoom in on them in a short period of time, resulting in a Grade 7 for my son. Parents and son were super pleased. Many thanks, Clara.

Clara is a brilliant tutor who has helped my daughter improve significantly in Spanish and boost her Spanish GCSE to a grade 7. She is friendly, patient and created a fun, relaxed environment in which my daughter could learn. Clara was able to teach exam techniques for each of the four papers, which I'm sure made a big difference in preparing my daughter for the exams. I wasn't sure about remo**Contact Detail Removed**ssons, but they are really effective and interactive and no time is wasted in travelling. I will be asking Clara to tutor my other daughter in French soon, and have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

Thank you so much for this lovely feedback… it was an absolute delight and I’m going to miss the lessons myself to be honest!
