Teaching Experience
I have worked with children across the primary age range, years 1 to 6. helping them to develop strong foundations in Maths and English and other key areas of learning. I have extensive experience preparing children for SATs and 11+ entrance exams, as well as supporting children who may need extra help or a greater challenge.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and personalised, ensuring that every child feels comfortable, supported and confident in their learning. I take time to understand each child's individual strengths and areas for development, adapting my lessons to suit their needs and learning style. I aim to make lessons engaging and enjoyable while helping children build strong foundations, improve their knowledge and develop the confidence to work independently. My goal is not only to help children achieve their academic potential, but also to develop a positive attitude towards learning.

Laki has supported our 11 year old son for the last 2 years in English. She prepared him for the 11+ exam for 3 independent schools in Berkshire and our son was accepted to two. He significantly improved his reading comprehension and writing skills.He has excelled his year 6 SATS. We had a plan on what we do every week and that was delivered. Laki is very strong in reading comprehension and story writing.She breaks down the text, patiently, explains thoroughly. The hour we spent was not **Web Address Removed** helped when I was present as my son gets easily distracted. To make the most out of what Laki offers, parent’s involvement is required. Laki had a pleasant, patient, supportive way of delivering her lessons and correcting his homework. She was open in our communication and there was nothing that we could not discuss. My son’s good results relied very much on our excellent communication and her lessons were meeting our requirements. Above all my boy liked her!
