Hello, I am a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and an experienced tutor in GCSE and A Level humanities. I studied History at university, achieved high grades at A Level in History, Religious Studies and Politics.

I have been tutoring for over a year, having had more than 10 students, all who improved considerably. Most scored extremely highly in their exams usually increasing by at least one but usually two grades up.

I tutor over Zoom usually but can travel if needed. Sessions are tailored to each students individual needs but broadly I focus on exam question answering, structure of answers, highlighting the knowledge that allows for highest marks on the mark scheme and student understanding. I am a firm believer in the value of past paper questions and in ensuring that studies are always centred on the exam at the end. I also put emphasis on managing exam stress and mastering exam technique. Many students tend to under perform due to being unprepared for the exam technique, this is something I make sure my students are well primed on and achieve well because of it.
