As both a tutor and a writer, I bring a real love of language and storytelling into my lessons. I believe that strong analytical skills and creative expression go hand in hand, and I take great pleasure in helping students develop their own voice, whether in essay writing, creative writing, or literary analysis. I have been a Private Tutor for over eight years, working across all major exam boards and qualifications. I have a strong track record of results across school entrance exams, GCSE, A Level, and university entrance level, with students consistently making significant progress under my guidance. I am extremely familiar with all the major exam boards and have most recently worked with students from Eton, Harrow, St Paul's and Perse.

My initial lessons are intended to serve a diagnostic purpose, seeking out particular areas of strength and weakness, as well as the student's personal learning style. Subsequent lessons then build on strengthening weaknesses, championing strengths, and celebrating individual ways of working. My lessons aim to develop an approach that combines practical, no-nonsense curriculum support and exam advice with creative and passionate engagement, designed to cultivate a genuine interest in and passion for the subject.
