I am now semi-retired but keen to carry on tutoring and help students reach their full potential, which I have a good level of success in, having won numerous national awards for 'best results' in a previous department I was head of. I'm still busy, not just tutoring for writing articles for numerous journals, examining, and doing bits of editing and reviewing for a very well know publisher.

30+ years in Business and Economics, mostly A-level, to a lesser extent GCSE and some vocational. I've headed 3 departments in both state and independent sectors, and lectured at 2 different universities (Economics and Business).

I like interactive sessions where students fully engaged and really want to push themselves. I try and get a good balance between a comprehensive understanding of specification content and exam technique, with some onus on time management in exams. Where relevant, I introduce examples of my published work, small video clips, best practice from past exams and exam board specific resources.
