Hello! I am a qualified Chemistry Teacher with 20+ years of teaching experience, including as Head of Chemistry in a Boys’ Grammar school, and in my last role as Head of Chemistry at a Private College. I love tutoring and am proud that nearly all of my students last year achieved an A* or A, with many progressing to Medicine or Dentistry.

I have extensive knowledge of the Edexcel, AQA, OCR and CIE Chemistry specifications at both A‑Level and GCSE, including Edexcel IGCSE. I also cover all the content for SQA Advanced Highers. As a specialist Chemistry Teacher, I also deliver all Core Practical skills required at A‑Level.

Alongside teaching, I work as a GCSE and A‑Level Examiner for Edexcel, giving me deep insight into how exam questions are marked and standardised. This means I have vast experience in how to structure high‑scoring exam answers, avoid common pitfalls, and apply mark‑scheme logic with precision.

I am therefore fully equipped to support students from any exam board and help them achieve top‑level outcomes.

This gives each student clarity and a structure designed precisely for their pace, their gaps, and their ambitions.
