Giovanni is a very good teacher. He is very flexible and willingly goes along with our laid back approach to learning French. Very knowledgeable friendly tutor.

My wife and I have been having lessons from Giovanni for some months now and have found him to be extremely knowledgeable about the French and their language. He is also very patient as we have not always been disciplined enough to complete his assignments. I would certainly recommend Giovanni to anyone contemplating learning French. I set Giovanni a challenge - 6 months to get me to a standard where I can at least have a conversation for about 3 minutes in Italian. I already speak French and Spanish - so I knew that this was going to be difficult. However, Giovanni was up to the challenge and set about teaching me the basics, linking it to my understanding of French and Spanish and then building on the learning. I am pleased to say that during my week's visit to Sicily, I was able to converse with the driver of our transfer from the airport, order a taxi on the telephone (and tell him where we were located - as we were not in a main area of the town), speak to waiters to explain where we were from and chat to the guide on a Segway tour. Giovanni is extremely patient and explains things exceptionally well. It is like having a friend come over for a coffee on a Saturday morning, as he is an interesting guy and he also explains cultural significance of various aspects of Italian life, so you have some background to the explanations - as well as learning colloquialisms. I would recommend Giovanni for any level of Italian - he is professional, knowledgeable and a great guy!

Giovanni, was patient with a total new beginner to the French language. He explained the basics and took me through them. He let me borrow his books until i purchased my own. Unfortunately due to personal reasons i have had to postpone my learning, but hope to restart soon.

Giovanni is a very good tutor. He has taught myself and my children in separate sessions for over 3 years. He has made lessons engaging and interesting and we have enjoyed learning french with him. Highly recomended.

Excellent tutor - very thorough and good at explaining in a simple way that is easier to remember. He is always prepared and brings worksheets that have helped me learn much quicker. He also recommended some resources that I have found very useful. He's taught me a vast amount of French in a very short amount of time!

My wife and I have had 2 sessions with Giovanni thus far, 1 session for 1 hour, and another for 2 hours. Both have been very successful and we are learning a lot. Giovanni is very patient and understanding that we are essentially new to the language (although having done it at GCSE!). He has provided us with a number of learning materials, which ar of high quality and a good level of depth.
