I am an experienced private tutor specialising in 11+, GCSE and A-Level Maths and Computing. Over recent years, I have had the pleasure of helping students gain places at highly competitive schools, including Tiffin, Wilson’s and Sutton grammar schools. My students have also achieved recent success in the UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge and Junior Mathematical Olympiad, which reflects the importance I place on curiosity, problem solving and developing real mathematical confidence.

I hold a BEng, an MPhil and a PhD, and I am also a member of the British Computer Society (MBCS). Alongside my academic and professional background, I bring a patient, encouraging and structured approach to teaching. I enjoy helping students make sense of difficult ideas by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps, so that they feel less overwhelmed and more in control of their learning.

My decision to teach comes from a genuine interest in supporting young people and helping them believe in their own ability. I understand that every student learns differently, and I take time to understand each child’s strengths, gaps and personality. Some students need stretching and challenge, while others need reassurance, confidence-building and a steady path forward. My aim is to create lessons that are focused, supportive and enjoyable, while helping each student grow in confidence and make steady, meaningful progress.
