My name is Patrick, and I have a double prize-winning First Class degree in Economics from Oxford. I have over eight years of tutoring experience with a focus on Economics, Maths, Sciences, as well as school and university admissions.

I teach students across all age groups, from primary school to postgraduate level, including 9 years of Oxbridge applications, exams, and entrance preparation.

I have tutored extensively for the TSA, ECAA, TMUA, MAT, and TARA, and have led multiple school preparation days across independent schools in the UK.

I have taught over 2,000 hours, helping countless students either push for top grades or improve from below pass level to a strong pass (B and above).

My teaching approach is centred around a bottom-up philosophy. I believe that any complex question can be broken down into simpler, more manageable parts. By teaching from first principles, I equip students with the tools to approach problems methodically and confidently, regardless of subject or level.

Equally important to me is creating a collaborative and respectful learning environment. I treat every student as an individual - whether they’re 6 or 26 - and tailor my approach to suit their unique strengths, needs, and learning style. I love teaching and genuinely enjoy working alongside students to build their curiosity, confidence, and independence.
