With a PGCE and QTS, I pursued a career as an English teacher for the better part of ten years. Truly. From marking the GCSEs I have honed the exam technique preparation in which I specialise. In October 2024, I left classroom teaching to research and write a book. I have a clear DBS on the update service, and am a full member of our professional body, TTA.

I have taught in schools in Barnet including QE Boys, St Michael's Grammar School, and Hendon school, as well as having tutored in North Finchley throughout.

My watchwords are fun and conscientiousness. Combining that seemingly paradoxical pairing works for me, for my pupils, and for life in general. We learn best when we are enjoying ourselves.
