Clitheroe Guitar Studio is located in Clitheroe, Lancashire and is run by International Senior London College of Music Examiner and trainer, Nick Mackey MISM. He writes articles for the Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar Society magazine, and examines all Music, Drama and Communication for LCME live face to face all over the UK plus has done 26 exam tours of Italy, Cyprus, North and South Ireland, New Zealand, Qatar, Oman, Vietnam, India, Switzerland, Barbados, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Greece.

Nick is an Senior International Examiner and Trainer for London College of Music/University of West London examinations. He has co-hosted LCME Webinars, is on the Teachers Help Panel and trains examiners Nick is trained in all Music, Drama and Communication subjects for LCME. He has over 45 years teaching experience and teaches and examines up to Level 7 qualifications (FLCM). Nick has taught at the LCME summer School at Ruskin College, Oxford.

Teaching style relaxed and gentle, centred on individually created lessons for your style of learning but with firm lines of progression and achievement. All lesson notes, music & mp3 links sent to parents and pupils. He prepares pupils if required for exams in Classical/Acoustic/Bass/Electric guitar and Ukulele. Other instruments such as 5 string Banjo, Irish Tenor Banjo and Mandolin are available. Nick also teaches the London College Rock/Pop theory exams.
