GCSE, IGCSE & A-LEVEL MATHS TUTOR | 15+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE | HORLEY & ONLINE I am an experienced Maths tutor with over 15 years of Maths tutoring experience, specialising in GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level Maths. I also teach Functional Skills Maths. I work with students across a wide range of abilities, from those who need help building confidence and securing a GCSE pass to students aiming for the highest GCSE and A-Level grades. I have a BSc in Mathematics and offer calm, structured lessons online or face-to-face at my home in Horley. I explain difficult concepts in clear, manageable steps and tailor my teaching to each student's individual needs. My aim is not only to improve results, but to help students develop genuine understanding, confidence and independence in Maths.

I have extensive experience teaching GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics across a range of examination boards, including AQA, Edexcel and OCR. Over the years, I have helped students build confidence in Maths, achieve and exceed their target grades, prepare effectively for examinations, and develop strong problem-solving and exam-technique skills. I work with students across a wide range of abilities, including those who have struggled with Maths in the past as well as students aiming for the highest grades. I provide extensive resources, including worksheets, topic-based practice, exam questions and past papers.

My approach is friendly, patient and supportive. I believe every student can make progress in Maths when concepts are explained clearly and at the right pace. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and typically include building understanding of key topics, identifying and addressing gaps in knowledge, practising exam-style questions and developing effective examination technique. I create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help students become independent, confident learners and achieve their best possible results.
