I am a professional mathematician with a PhD in Probability Theory from the University of Warwick. Currently, I am a research Data Scientist in the crop science sector as well as a supervisor and an affiliate lecturer at Cambridge University. Although my training is in theoretical mathematics, I love the applied side of maths. I greatly enjoy programming and keeping up with all the new tech (hello LLMs!).

I have 20 years of experience teaching mathematics, from A-level students to postgraduates at UK's top universities (Cambridge, Oxford, Warwick,...). I have taught both in a private capacity as well as in a university setting (tutorials, Oxbridge style supervisions, drop-in sessions, workshops).

At the postgraduate/professional level, my specialties are:

Lessons are tailored to the student's needs but the fundamental principle is always gaining some intuition for and understanding of the underlying theory before tackling practical problems. Demystifying a formula goes a long way to making one feel comfortable using it!
