Hi, my name is Keeane, a young professional who has just finished their medical degree within the top decile from a London medical school. Having come from a humble state school in East London and making it all the way through one of the toughest and most rewarding degrees in the UK, I believe that education is paramount to the success of all young people, no matter what path they choose in life. I am keen to pass on everything I've learnt, both through my 5 years of university education as well as before that.

I have a wealth of teaching experience through the tutoring scheme facilitated by my university. This involved me leading small group teaching sessions to my colleagues in the lower years. Topics included clinical examination and communication skills, anatomy, and physiology.

I believe that teaching should have a structured approach, with the option to keep things flexible. I employ the Peyton Four-Step Method to teach. As well as having experienced the effectiveness firsthand, the method is highly praised within the literature and used widely in many educational settings. Education, particularly tutoring, should be tailored to the individual. As such, I hope to work together with the tutee to create personalised plans and set learning goals for them.
